1997 - A group of people, together, formed a small families community. With the help of the "Forum for the Children of Chernobyl Rights" in Terni (Italy), the families sustain the children from Belarus.

November 22th 2002 - (Asilo della Pace - Campocroce di Mirano - Venice) - For better humanitarian activities organization, the Association "Children of Chernobyl" was founded. The President: Alessandro Zadra and the Secretary: Luigi Martignon.

October 2008 - With all the experience gained in previous years, the Association decided to form a NPO, through subscription to the Voluntary Organizations Regional Registry, with the following classification: "VE0158".

July 2009 - Opening new headquarters of the association, the ceremony was attended by the President of Forum "Bambini di Chernobyl" (Terni) Mr. Fazi and the consul of Belarus Mr. Poleshchik. During the ceromony, l'association illustrated the project of hospitality 2009: 19 children housed at the school of Campocroce di Mirano.

August 2009 - Through contacts with Mr. Mazzoleni, Primary hospital of Treviso Ca'Foncello, the association begin a collaboration for realize health projects, regarding serious diseases of people from Mongolia.

November 2010 - The shareholder's meeting decide to change the strategy of hospitality projects, from families to facilities, this because of socio-cultural changes occured in Italy and Belarus. However, for the family hospitality, we continue to help anyone who requests it, working with other associations.
